Imperial presentation lacquer tebako signed Jitoku

Granulated ground with takamaki-e and shell – other surfaces rich nashiji, silver rims. Shakuyaku (peonies) and sixteen-petalled chrysanthemum.

Signed under lid in gold hiramaki-e Akatsuka Jitoku tsukuru (made by Akatsuka Jitoku, 1871-1936).
