A stone Standing Vishnu torso and legs
Height: 64.4cm Width: 26.7cm
This is a standing Vishnu sculpture without a head from Angkor, Cambodia. According to another similar pieces in the collection of the museum of Phnom Penh, this sculpture has a wide shoulder, vertical furrow crossing the torso, bulging abdomen and robust legs. A garment is draped around the hips. Even though the arms were gone, the fact that it used to have four arms is discernible in the sculpture.
