The white glazed porcelain rabbit is decorated with incised hairwork and irregular black patches. The animal lies recumbent with head raised, eyes bulging, mouth closed, flared nostrils and both ears vertical and fully alert. Some yellow enamel has been painted into the nostrils and eyes with a puce colour to the inside of the ears and mouth. The underside is hollow and the figure is placed on a carved oval wood base.
